Festivals:

• Festival of the Light | August – September | Photography festival with several activities, exhibitions, forums and workshops around Argentina
• Festival Buenos Aires Tango | 15 – 24 August | Enjoy tangoshows or take classes. Ends with an open air milonga!
• Buenos Aires Fashion Week | 20 – 23 August | Presentation of the spring/summer collection 2008/2009
• Tango Dance World Championship | 24 August – 1 September | Starts with an open air milonga in Nuñez
• Fiesta del Inmigrante | 4 – 14 September | Festival to celebrate and share traditions, food, dance etcetera from the different origins of the immigrants
• Feria de Vinos y Bodega | 10 – 13 September | Wine fair
• Pepsi Music 2008 | 26 September – 5 October | National and International Music Festival. Opening night is 13 September

Art and Exhibitions:

• La Rural | 24 July – 5 August | Agricultural exhibition. But also with performances like macho gaucho’s doing crazy stunts.
• Gallery nights | 29 August | Every last friday of the month you are welcome in art galleries in Recoleta and Retiro. Starts at 7pm
• The era of Rodin | 12 July – 14 September | Exhibition of sculptures from Rodin and contemporaries at the Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo
• Expotrastiendas | 12 – 18 September | Art Fair with exhibitions, workshops, performances and more organized by La Asociación Argentina de Galerías de Arte
